Terms of the Sale

AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS

Items will be made available in no certain order. Currently available items will be in the Currently Available list, and they will have a status with them. Each of the items will be made available first for private offers, and then for public auction via EBay. EBay is located at www.ebay.com and if you intend to bid on any of the items available that end up going to auction, you should go there and get signed up -- bids are not accepted from users that have not registered. Registration is free!

The Coming Attractions list will be a list of items that will be coming to the page. These items are not available for bid or offer until they are put on the Currently Available list.

MAKING OFFERS

When you make an offer, during the period stated on the page with the items, your offer will be held privately (sealed) until the end of that period. At that time, I will either accept the highest offer I have received on an item, or I will decline the offer and move the item to EBay. Note that all times are marked EST for when bids are due -- Eastern Standard Time. I typically make them available for sealed offers for six days before I consider taking the highest, so there's no excuse not to get your offer in to me in time.

CONDITION OF ITEMS

In my time, I have searched out the absolute best condition of every item available that I have in my collection. Some are better than others, most are excellent to mint. In order to give the buyer the best description possible, I have purchased a Kodak DC260, which is a 1536x1024 resolution digital camera. This camera has the ability to faithfully reproduce all the details of the cart case and label most will require. Although the Currently Available listing will only have a thumbnail, there will be a link to an offsite web server for every item and quality photographs will be available for every item.

If you do not have graphical web access, I will attempt to provide you with a photo by other means.

I have reduced color depth slightly to save a significant amount of transfer time on the photographs, and used a lower resolution. They are still VERY GOOD but if you want an extraordinarily detailed photograph, please let me know and I snap one and send it to you.

SALE OF ITEMS

Once you have purchased an item, you need to pay for it. All items will be paid for by one of three methods. Prepayment is the only option.

	Personal Check - Item will not ship until check has cleared. Waiting period may be waived for people I have done business with before.
	Money Order - Item will ship at first available shipping date (twice a week for small USPS items, once a week for UPS items).
	IEscrow - www.iescrow.com provides a secure service for buying items on the Internet, and they charge a 5% commission fee on most purchases. The buyer will be responsible for all commission fees.

I have an excellent reputation on both EBay and rec.games.video.classic for being a fair and reliable seller. My recommendation is not to pay the money to iescrow, as you'll be receiving reliable service from me. The only really excellent reason you might want to use IEscrow is that they take VISA and Mastercard. This is ideal for people who would rather not write a check or international bidders who want to be able to verify arrival of their funds.

The buyer will be responsible for ALL shipping charges (actual) and special packaging fees if the item or items is/are unwieldy and require unique packaging solutions. Special packaging fees occur whenever I do not already own the required shipping boxes. If I can fit it safely in a USPS Priority mail box or one of the boxes I have around, I will, if not, I will inform you and I will probably charge an extra 20% on top of actual shipping charges in this case. This should happen rarely.

Buyer must pay insurance on any items they wish to be insured in shipment.

Returns will only be accepted in the case of defective items. All items will be tested before shipping if they are electronic.

Shrinkwrapped or otherwise sealed items CANNOT be tested. In the case of a purchase of a shrinkwrapped item that the buyer will require to be tested, payment must be made before I will break the seal on an item. If that item is defective in the packaging, purchase price will be refunded.

MINIMUM PURCHASE (for international buyers only)

For international customers there is a minimum purchase of $10. If you pick up a low-cost item early in the sale, I will hold it for you until you purchase something else. If at the end of the sale you have not purchased anything else, I will then ship your order no matter how large.
