Story of My Car

My Fiero is a '87 GT in bright blue, which is rare as it makes up only about 1% of the population of these cars.

The paint is factory, with every option installed excluding a rear-window defogger and factory premium sound.  For the story of its acquisition, please see the Story of My Fiero.

I bought this car to begin a customization project, taking the car to a level of performance that I would have expected it to be if the Fiero had continued to be in production and advanced at the rate which it experienced.  We will be pulling around 235-240HP when finished, and be keeping the weight under 2,700lbs., expect to have slightly better performance and handling characteristics than the stock '99 Corvettes.

Major performance modifications planned include a new suspension system and 12" brakes from Ryane Motorsports, a rebuilt engine by Mantapart in Ohio prepared for a 9-10psi Stage 2 Turbocharger from Design1Systems in Oklahoma.

Major cosmetic modifications planned include a new interior, including new carpet, dashboard, and leather surfaces, larger rims to fit the 12" rotors, paint repair due to the clear coat being damaged from sun, and a new MD based audio system.
